The entangled histories of environments and technologies tell us stories about how the built world builds worlds. I strive to empower students to use history as a guide for navigating and living in the present, to inform the public on the power dynamics that are built into the technologies that are meant to serve them, and to compile historical, archival knowledge that is useful to environmental and community coalitions fighting for environmental justice. In my teaching practices I work to build meaningfully inclusive, equitable, and accessible classrooms and community education spaces.

I would love to visit your class, community, or organization as an invited speaker or for teach-ins. Please see my contact page for more information and to reach out.
